Washington Connection provides a fast and easy way for families and individuals to apply for a variety of services such as Food, Cash, Long-Term Care, and Medicare Savings Programs. Individuals that are age 65 and older, blind or disabled, may also apply for medical assistance.

Washington Law Help provides a guide to free civil legal services for seniors in Washington. Topics include: Information for Senior Advocates, Power of Attorney, Abuse & Exploitation of Seniors, Health Care for Seniors, Social Security, and much more.

The Washington State Aging and Long-Term Support Administration oversees programs designed to help Seniors and people with disabilities to live with good health, independence, dignity and control over decisions that affect their lives.

The office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman receives/responds to complaints and advocates for improvements in the long-term care system. Additionally, the office maintains a statewide directory of Ombuds throughout Washington State. The Washington State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program is operated by the Multi-Service Center.

Older adults, adults with disabilities, caregivers, family members and professionals can call Community Living Connections to get objective, confidential information about community resources and service options.

Sound Generations: offers Meals on Wheels, Senior Rights assistance, Medicare help, transportation and more.

The financial education non-profit CENTS has created Senior Money, which is an instructional DVD, companion website, and in-person presentations to teach senior citizens how to spot and avoid all the scams aimed at them.  The video, which features Attorney General Bob Ferguson, has three 35 minute sections: 1) reverse mortgages, 2) scams, and 3) identity theft and estate planning. AARP Foundation provides training and printed guides to help you coach yourself or lead classes and offer support to others who may seek additional information around smart money habits.
